Name: Netflix style logo animation template
Author: https://prerolls.video/user/preroller

Software required: After Effects CC 23.x (18.x and 22.x versions also included)
Plug-ins required: None

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Instructions

----------------------------------------
Step 1 - Install required font(s)
----------------------------------------
--> Install the Bebas Neue font family: https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Bebas+Neue

----------------------------------------
Step 2 - Open After Effects
----------------------------------------
--> Open the "Netflix Template.aep" file. If you're unable to open the project, try opening the 22.x or 18.x templates for compatibility with earlier versions of After Effects.
--> Hit OK if prompted to convert the project.

----------------------------------------
Step 3 - Update the logo
----------------------------------------
--> Open the "Logo Placeholder" composition and edit the text with your server name. Adjust the font size as needed and align to center.

----------------------------------------
Step 4 - Adjust colors
----------------------------------------
--> Open the Netflix composition and click the Color Control layer. Adjust the Theme Color and Logo Color as desired.

----------------------------------------
Step 5 - Render video
----------------------------------------
--> When you're ready to render, navigate to the top menu bar and click Composition-> Add to Render Queue.
--> Select the output directory and adjust the render settings as needed (I use the defaults).
--> Click render and watch the magic happen.

----------------------------------------
Step 6 - Encode in h264 format
----------------------------------------
--> For the best playback results, add the mov file to Adobe Media Encoder to create a mp4 file.
--> Select the H.264 format and the Match Source - High Bitrate preset. I also like to increase the video bitrate settings to VBR 2 pass with a target mbps of 10 and maximum of 20 mbps.
